We had a fantastic time and I think having the villa made the difference. We have previously stayed in hotel rooms. Being all together this time in such comfortable surroundings was wonderful. The villa not only met our expectations; it exceeded them. It looked lovely on your web-site but we had been bracing ourselves for the reality to be not quite as good. Everything was just as you described and in pristine condition - even the little touches like side lamps. And the view was to die for; so much so that we slept each night with all curtains open so that we could see the sea from all angles each morning. Perfect! Breakfasts and early evening drinks each day on your terrace were similarly divine. We were also very pleased with the arrangements you made on our behalf. The transfers went smoothly and the girls were thrilled with the limousine like car (complete with interior neon lights) that arrived for our return journey. Paula and Metin were first class - helpful and attentive but not intrusive. Whenever we re-visit Kalkan (maybe for October half-term), your villa will be the first place that we think of staying.

The villa and its location were just perfect. We spent most days just lazing around the villa, taking advantage of the infinity pool and enjoying the beautiful view. The villa was exceptionally clean and ideally suited to our requirements.
Geraldine, Paris. July 2007Yeah we had a fantastic holiday thanks & would definitely recommend the Villa to others. The Villa itself was situated ideally for us - just close enough to town for a brisk 10 minute walk yet far enough away to sample the fantastic panoramic views of both harbours. Wouldn't recommend to people with walking difficulties however as some of those hills can be killers after 6 or 7 Efes!!! The apartment itself was beautifully furnished to a very high spec & suits 2 adult couples perfectly. Waking up to those views in the morning meant it was hard to drag yourself out of bed sometimes!! The private pool is just the icing on the cake as well, it was fantastic! We can't thank Paula enough either for her helpfulness & personal touch that she gave to making our holiday what it was, you've got a gem in having her looking after the place as I'm sure you are already aware. We ate at Zekis on 2 occasions and sampled some of the finest food we have ever tasted, I have to say the fillet steak was possibly the best I've ever had.

The villa was superb, we were “gob smacked” by the views when we woke up on the Friday morning – we just couldn’t believe our luck. The whole time we were there, we just couldn’t get used to seeing so much all the time – it was stunning!!! The villa itself was immaculate, well furnished and equipped and very clean and tidy. We loved the fact that we had our own infinity pool – such a big bonus for cooling off and messing around – the chap who looked after the pool was lovely too!!! It was our first trip to Kalkan (our friends had been once before) and I have to say, we have fallen in love with the place and the people. So many restaurants to choose from as well - the food we had was excellent every time.

September 2007We had a truly fab holiday - mostly because we stayed in your gorgeous villa (we're spoilt now where ever we stay in the future we will be comparing it to Villa P) In fact we hardly left the villa the first week except to go out for our evening meal - we were all quite happy to hang around the pool and patio taking in the stupendous view!! We really have no complaints at all?! Maybe a few more towels per week would be nice - showering twice a day etc. At first we thought a CD player would be handy but then realised you had a DVD player which you can play CD's on anyway - problem solved! Paula and her family were very nice and helpful, and the pool chap was very friendly (like all Turkish people!) The transfer from the airport was excellent and efficient. We have been telling everyone about the villa - so you never know you may have some more guests from North Wales.
Glenda, Mold. September 2007We had a great time. After a week of good sailing & some quite strong winds we came to Kalkan. Lovely spot and very interesting inland too. The villa was great and we found it very well furnished and well equipped. Only a couple of things missing! We are great coffee drinkers and a cafetiere would have been useful. We searched high & low but found nothing in the town, you may have noticed our improvised version (the top of a plastic milk bottle ) in the cupboard. It was a bit chilly at night on our arrival and we used the throws for bed covers .Lovely pool and very well looked after. Great restaurants nearby , in fact we were very impressed overall by the food in Turkey. Lots of places to visit, we particularly liked the ancient part of Patara. It was a lovely time of year to come to Turkey, not too many people and not too hot!! Once again, great !! Highly recommended.

Anna, Hull. June 2008We have had a really lovely holiday, the villa was all we hoped for and more besides ideal for four people, views fantastic with the pool overlooking both bays. We hired a car and explored the surrounding areas as far as Olu Deniz, Fethiye and Kas & Kekova but we stilled enjoyed getting back to Kalkan, which is quite unspoilt. Being four old codgers we were happy to sit on the terrace at night having a few drinks taking in the view or walking into town, having a meal and drinks, then taking a taxi back home. Must mention the pool man who was very friendly and helpful also Metin & Paula who looked after us.

We have been visiting Kalkan for 15+ years and really appreciate the location of the villa with amazing views of both Kalkan bay and Kalamar bay. Paula and Metin were very helpful on the Sat. that we arrived and Tekin did a splendid job every morning. The only bit of constructive feedback is that the Yucca on the right as you go up the steps is leaning over the pathway and has very sharp leaves! We would like to book for next year as soon as possible.
Stephanie, Warrington. July 2008The Villa was fantastic, so much so that I don't think that the photos really do it justice. You could definitely take some new ones, especially of the view! We had one or two problems with the electricity but these were sorted pretty quickly by Paula. We found the Villa to be clean and tidy, the decoration and furniture was beautiful and the pool was excellent. The weather was really hot and we had a really great time. The only constructive criticism I can think of, and it's not really a big thing, is that in the information booklet that is provided it would be very helpful indeed to have a small map of the town. The reason I say this is that we couldn't actually find the market! We instead got our fruit and veg from a green-grocer type place which was nice but quite expensive. We did follow the instructions for the market but still couldn't find it. Other than that, it was brilliant.

Peter, Canada. May 2009We had a fabulous time in Kalkan, it’s a beautiful town, and we fell in love with it! The food is gorgeous and the locals are all so friendly (especially Paula & Metin). You were right; it was very easy to find our way around, and Kaputas Beach… wow! The Villa is lovely; it has now set the precedent for future holidays! It’s a great size and the rooms are bright and were very clean. The much needed pool was delightful. The view from it was magnificent – I have so many “view” pictures! I loved everything about it and have been singing praises about the Villa and Kalkan since we’ve been home! We took various trips, Fethiye Market, Canoeing etc and had a Turkish Bath. Everything in Kalkan is very easy to organise we didn’t feel that we needed a car in the end. Thank you for everything, the use of your Villa, the transfers etc everything was excellent.

We had a fantastic time, Kalkan as beautiful as always and your villa was one of the best we have stayed in, it was such a treat to be along the Kalamar Road on the flat !! for a change. Your Villa is beautifully laid out and very well equipped, it has the most impressive uninterrupted views from all rooms including from the kitchen sink! The pool whilst not huge merges into panoramic sea views which are priceless. The bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely and the pictures on the website probably do not do them justice. Thank you for all your prompt confirmations and as always the taxi transfers were perfect. We will be back.

Louise, Canterbury. August 2009Your villa is wonderful and suited us perfectly- the pool was well used and we enjoyed many happy sundowners on the roof terrace. We also thought Kalkan was lovely – last year we went to a 5* resort in the Caribbean but we all agreed we actually had a better time this year in Kalkan! We rarely go back to the same place twice but we would consider perhaps a May or October half term break at some time in the future as we’d like to explore the area a bit more when the heat is not so intense. Anyway I will definitely be recommending Villa Paramelle and Kalkan to our friends and relations.
Carole, Luton. August 2009We had a great time. The villa was of a much higher standard than what we have experienced using some well known companies covering other Mediterranean countries. All the feedback on your website was well deserved and set the correct expectations. The only very minor point I can think of bringing to your attention is that when arriving after dark from the airport it was not easy to identify the villa as the name plate is only visible if you climb the stairs. However I can think of reasons why you may not want to have it so obvious to all and sundry. Also I understand from Paula and Metin that most people seem to use the transfer service in any case. Both Paula and Metin were also helpful by the way. I will certainly recommend your villa to any friends I have who may be interested in visiting Kalkan. This was our second time in Kalkan, the last being 6 years ago ....it must be at least 3 times the size it was then !

As a keen swimmer would have liked the pool to have been a bit bigger but it certainly served its purpose in the heat !
