Restaurants in Kalkan
This private holiday villa to rent in Kalkan Turkey is within walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants. One of the great things about private Kalkan villa rental is the flexibility to be able to eat where and when you choose. There are many restaurants in Kalkan to choose from and these are our personal favourites.
La Terrazza (Telephone + 90 242 844 2613) or click to email
La Terrazza has an upmarket predominantly Italian, international menu. The dishes have been created exclusively by their own chef and we have always enjoyed meals cooked to a very high standard. As before the theme is mainly Italian but do look out for some nice surprises, you might even be able to spoil yourself with a sticky toffee pudding for dessert! This is a super restaurant with a great atmosphere. It has been wonderfully decorated and when in the bar, you could be in any top notch cocktail bar in Milan. The terrace is a particularly romantic spot with wonderful views. The restaurant is situated right in the centre of the old town close to the marina front.
Odak Restaurant(Telephone + 90 242 844 2742)
The Odak restaurant is traditionally Turkish and has views over the bay. It is near to the post office on the main street into town and is on the first floor above the shops. You can enjoy traditional Turkish food at a reasonable price. Kebabs, stuffed aubergines and peppers and traditional Turkish Pide are just some of the things you can enjoy. You are guaranteed a warm friendly welcome and the freshly prepared food is lovely.
Oz Adana - AKA Fred's!
You are guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome from Fred the waiter at the Oz Adana. This is a traditional Turkish restaurant serving the famous "Lahmacun" (pronounced Lamogen). Lahmacun is a traditional Turkish flat bread with a meat or cheese topping, they are absolutely delicious. In addition there is a full menu with all of the Turkish dishes you can think of, freshly cooked. This is a simple restaurant and is excellent value for money.
The turquoise coast of Turkey is an area steeped in history with so much to see and do ...............
